Marrakech, dedicated in 2015 best destination for golfers
The Red City is favored by golfers for its fairways demanding tracks, its hospitality and its cultural after-golf. The International Association of Golf TO comes to consecrate.
With a dozen courses designed by big names in the field - Robert Trent Jones, Jack Nicklaus or Colin Montgomery - and hotel to match, the city of Marrakech has long been popular with golfers. The French particularly easily cross the Mediterranean for weekends on the fairways of the ocher city which is only three hours from Paris. But this golf course radiation exceeds the Atlas and the Hexagon and is expected to grow as the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO) has named Marrakech best golf destination of 2015 for Africa, the Gulf countries and the Indian ocean.
Vying face giants in terms of golf tourism - can think in Mauritius, South Africa and the UAE -, Marrakech has natural strengths evident first and foremost climate and an after-golf rich in cultural expeditions, but it is also a permanent investment policy in favor of the practice was rewarded.
